Mbuchi
~
“Mbuchi , turtle words. On forbidden mother tongues” is an essay I wrote from a very intimate space of language, mother tongues and anticolonial transmission practices through generations and geographies. It is about the human as a turtle and the turtle as a human, Binnizá culture, poetry, dreams, lullabies, migration policies, family wounds and language resistance. The book presents in-itself as a curatorial realm where Valentina Jager and our dear Alan join through their own beautiful artistic practices.
